2015 Ford escape. Consumer stated that they experienced issues with their shifter not shifting into gear and locking up. The consumer requested to be reimbursed for recall 22s25/22v254.
At 127,000 miles the check engine light came on and we were told the transmission needed to be replaced. Ford was not willing to work with us even though we had an extended warranty. Now we are told that the engine needs to be replaced.

Purchased a new 2015 escape have had it in the dealer multi times for turbo replacement and the heads replaced. Was smelling coolant in the car took it to the same dealer for repair. That was over 7 weeks ago. Fords will not approve the repair that was caused by the coolant leaking into the engine. I have a active powertrain and Ford esp warranty.
Complete transmission failure while driving on highway. Ford had to do a complete rebuild at 87k miles. The failure rendered the vehicle useless for the highway and luckily my daughter was able to coast off the highway and limp home which took 2 hours for a 15 mile distance. Display indicated transmission fault - service now or something like that.
Warning light comes on. Transmission hit ok goes off. Messaglight goes on to shut car off I do that an message doesn't come back on. At one time my car even slowed downs to 40 and another warning light came on shut car off restarted an ran ok. That warning light stayed on until taken to Ford garage in gibson city. They couldn't find anything wrong so reset. These all began a month ago.
This vehicle has approx 45,000 miles, regularly serviced. Husband drove home from work and had issues accelerating. Rpm's would go up but the car didn't seem to respond very well to pushing on the gas. Took it to the Ford dealership who told us the transmission would need to be replaced as a piece of it (not sure exactly what piece) had broken off within the transmission and had destroyed it.

Ford fails to recognize the coolant leaking issue with the 1.5l ecoboost engine. Did a patch job fix 2 years ago and failed to repair when technicians stated the engine needed repairs. There is coolant in the 4th cylinder of the engine for the second time in 2 years.

The instrument panel cluster has failed. Ford recalled certain 2014-2015 escapes but not mine. I would like my vehicle to be included in the recall so this failed unit can be repaced.
My Ford escape 2015 wouldn't shut off after turning. I didn't realize that car was on after I had park, without the keys in the ignition. I drove home when I tried to shut the engine; it didn't. The car was tow to the nearest Ford. The motor was still running when it was being tow. Ford couldn't find anything wrong with the car. Mine you I still haven't made my first payment.

My multiple function display has gone blank which displays all warning chimes, messages and mileage. I contacted Ford customer service about the recall they had that was submitted on that model and year and they told me my vehicle was not included. Because of the same exact thing described in the recall I feel Ford should repair my vehicle at no charge. Recall # 15c03 thank you!
When the vehicle is park it kills the battery so we found that cluster is killing the battery we under plug the cluster for like three day and the battery was good and also its a new battery we put in the vehicle but we plug it back in and after 1 day battery dead so we know there some recall on 2015 Ford escape about the cluster be inoperative but Ford said there no recall NHTSA has it list as recalls

Whenever driving my car, it noticably takes longer than it should to shift causing my rpms to run higher than expected. For instance doing 35 I might be running at 2500-3000 rpms for about 15 to 20 seconds before shifting and causing my rpms to go down to around 1500.

The vehicles rear view camera works intermitantly - sometimes it is blank, or upside down and sometimes it works - as I saw they are recalling 2019 models with the issue I think my 2015 model has the same issue. Please issue a recall on this model aswell thank you

My 2015 Ford escape lost power steering in the middle of driving. I had my family, including my 2 year old in the car with me. I was unable to steer and almost drove off the road. I contacted Ford and they were of no help. This is a known issue and they refuse to address it.
