On 3 occasions my 2016 hyundai tucson stalled when approaching an on ramp to a major interstate road. The loss of power placed me in a very dangerous position, a similar state of danger when entering a busy intersection. This vehicle is extremely unpredictable and needs to be recalled

The car does not accelerate at a light or traffic. The car is on and revs and the dials move but does not drive. This has happened 3 times and the dealer cannot find anything wrong because the computer doesn't show an issue. I am scared to drive the car.
On multiple occasions, the car will not go into any forward gear after stopping. This has happened on at least 3 occasions. Once, the vehicle had to be driven in reverse to get off the highway safely. The dealer has updated the transmission software, but it concerns me that this could happen again.
Vehicle will not accelerate from a stop at times until 3000 rpm and then squeals tires. It is a saftey issue. Hyunda dealer did a recall which has not fixed the problem completely. It is intermittant.
Have 2016 with a terrible transmission shutter, in slow traffic the car jerks and has very little power, if you attempt to make a left turn across traffic you take your life in your hands and the car can stall during the turn and you are now stuck in on coming traffic. It is very dangerous.

Driving down highway on june 20,2019 and engine stopped running. Ri state police pushed vehicle to the side of the road and the car was towed to the nearest hyundai dealer in ri. As of today, july 23,2019, the vehicle is still at the dealer waiting for a replacement engine. Engine is covered under warranty.

The oil was changed regularly so I'm not sure what happen. Since I was driving home and the vehicle started stalling.

The doors will not open from the inside or the outside after you lock the doors. You have to pull the handle anywhere from 5-10 times to get to open or not. I feel this is a safety issue for my passager if the car was involved in a wreck or caught on fire . This is an ongoing problem and the hyundai dealership kwon about the issue.
Rear driver door will not unlock either from the inside or the outside. You can hear the remaining doors lock and unlock but not the rear driver. I transport my grand children and this is a safety issue. The cars has 16k miles on it and is still under warranty. Dealer said it will take about 1 to 2 weeks to get the part in. I was told that this has happened to alot of the hyundai tucsons.

The rear passenger door will not unlock regardless of how or when it is tried. The dealer says the door actuator is faulty. No one can enter or exit the vehicle from that side, even in an emergency. This problem appears in hundreds of posts about this model of hyundai tuscon. Only a dealer can repair and replace the problem at a cost of $1600. No recall has been issued for this.
Rear passenger side door will not unlock/open. Cannot be unlocked by any switch. From info I have been able to find this could be a very dangerous situation. I have not been to the dealer or contacted the manufactuer. No warning lights or alarms have been activated by the vehicle.o6/
Rear passenger door failure to open from either inside or outside. Vehicle diagnosed faulty door actuator and repaired at dealer for 500.00. Four months later the front passenger door will not open from outside showing exact same symptoms as previous door. Vehicle is only 3 years old.
My front passenger side door would only open from the outside after 3+ pulls on the handle. Now the rear passenger door will not open from the inside or the outside. Lock still engages and disengages, but door will not open. This compromises the safety of my rear passengers.

After installing a new hood latch under the recall. The dealership installed the dashboard software upgrade. The incorrect software update for the dash assembly was installed. It seems that the company hyundai put in charge for the software, failed to update the software and it could not tell the diff. Between the 2 diff. Styles of dash assemblies. As of the 27th of july, the dash will not display anything.

Unable to open the back passenger door because door lock actuator fails. Won't open from inside (manually or with key fob) or outside thus trapping the passenger. This is a concerning safety hazard. The car is only 5 years old.
This is the 2 time this happens the 1st times was the back door we still had warranty we got that fixed not its the driver side it does not unlock we have to go into the passenger side to unlock the driver side. If someone is following me how an I going to get into my car! This is a hazardous safety issue.

My passenger side door and back door not opening from outside. We have a kid in the seat so we have a child lock in the back. Because of that we couldn't able to open the door. When I called hyundai about that they said they will first evaluate for that I need to pay and then they charge me for the 2 doors. This is very absurd.
Two doors will not unlock or open.if in a wreck you are trapped. Dealer said I would have to pay to fix the car. Car will not speed up when on a rough road, which other cars will run over you. Mileage 90122

Passenger door lock won’t unlock from inside or outside. 4-year old grandson could not get out this happened before with the passenger front seat door. Took to dealer and fixed. I am seeing online that many people are having the same problem. This could be dangerous.
The drivers door and drivers side back door doesn’t open from the inside or the outside. It opens after like 10 tries of yanking on it. This is a serious issue if I had to get out of there quickly or if I had someone in the back that couldn’t climb. I should have to climb out of my car. Recall this.
