Oil pan leak: 2.0l nu gdi engine is starting to leak oil in the oil pan. Only 38,900 miles. Previous engine oil was made by the dealer and no notice about the issue mas made.I will go to the dealer and complain because of this.
The car hesitates when accelerating from a stop and acts as it's going to stall. There is no power in the gas pedal when this happens and it can take a few seconds before it finally shifts. This has been happening since may 2017 when I purchased it and I have reported ot to the dealership 3 times. They have been unable to duplicate the issue or find a code indicating that the issue has occurred.

While driving I have noticed that when I begin to accelerate after a complete stop my car jerks forward and doesn't catch. It's almost as if the vehicle stalls before moving forward, this happens when moving forward or reversing from a complete stop. I haven't been able to get a response to the issue from the dealership though I've let them know there is an issue multiple times over the past 3 months.
Driving about 25 mph turning into a parking lot the vehicle jerked forward, then just stalled. I barely got it off the road and finally had bystanders help push me off. It was towed to local hyundai dealer and after review, they stated something about debris melted and got into the engine, which destroyed the engine. Was under full warranty and now it's been 30 days I've been without my vehicle.
I was driving on hey do 70 car made a noise dropped to 65 ppl was honking at me I looked in rear view mirror I see sparks coming from bottom of car. I immediately merged to the right turn car off and it started smoking. I have no warning ⚠️ indicators on in car to say something is wrong.
I have around 36,000 miles on my suv and my engine went out. I was driving home and it started making rug a loud knocking noise. Half way home it died and the oil light flashed but went back off. Car started right back up but knocking sound was still there. Knocking sound occurs when accelerating.

The vehicle will stall out. You can hit the gas and hit the gas and nothing will happen for almost 30 seconds then it will jerk really hard and go. This has happened several times and I have almost been t boned because of it stalling out when pulling out of a parking lot. This has happened several times and have had it at the hyundai dealership and of course they can't find anything.

1. Lost of power/acceleration when in drive mode, has happen multiple times but told by service dept, nothing is wrong during their test drives. 2. Driver door does not open on the outside, has to open from the inside. 3. Smell of exhaust inside cabinet. Have been turned away from dealer services due to warranty coverage. I believe vehicle is a lemon
2017 hyundai tucson. While driving my vehicle on a city street , I stopped for a red light and when I proceeded to move when the light turned green my suv would not accelerate. The vehicle transmission made a noise ,rpm's went to 4, car lunched forward and moved a little, then proceeded to drive.
When in city driving, vehicle jerks between 1st, 2nd and third gear. When in a quick stop vehicle fails to accelerate right away. Both intermittently concerns. Spoke to my local dealer and they state is a know issue with this model vehicle and that is just the way they are. Unacceptable
The car hesitates under acceleration . It will sometimes sits just inching along for 2 or 3 seconds then start accelerating. You don't know when its going to happen. I have taken it to the dealer and they said nothing is wrong with the vehicle. It can go a week with nothing than when you last expect it happens again. Very dangerous I wont let my wife drive the car.

It's a little scary hoping that I don't get hit making a turn & the car hesitates. It has happened 5 times so far

When attempting to accelerate from being stopped at a light, stop sign, etc. The vehicle stalls for about 3-5 seconds before moving. When attempting to change lanes or merge onto the highway there is a delay. I've had the vehicle for 1.5 years (original owner). These issues started approximately 1 month ago.
On numerous occasions this vehicle has failed to accelerate. The vehicle rpms rise but it takes roughly 2-3 seconds to engage. I feel this is very unsafe especially when making a left turn in traffic. I have take it to the dealer more than once with no help. The 2016 model was recalled for exactly what I have experienced and I believe the 2017 model should be as well.
Hesitation on acceleration, from a stop may accelerate or sit there. I see there are already 29 complaints of the same thing and in 2016 there were 108 complaints for the dry type dual clutch transmission (dct) application logic mine 1.6 turbo. Use sport mode not s fix nor solution. Recall #149 in 2016 fix? Some one will die!
2017 hyundai tucson 4700 miles on it on 5/29/18 on my way home from the hospital at a traffic light put my foot on the gas car failed to accelerate at a normal pace started very slow it happened at least seven more times on that day

Shortage in the electrical system.. Never had so many bulbs blown out on 1 car - brake lights and head lights. Now there is a shortage in the hood... The fan keeps going even when the car is turned off, clicks a couple of times and the far starts up again.

There is a current recall on this vehicle: NHTSA recall number20v543000. I have called the dealer and they have no idea of when hyundai will provide a fix. Since this defect can cause the car to catch fire can you please find out about the fix for this problem.
I made a complaint against this same problem but now it is on the opposite side. The brake rear passenger side has burned. The dealership blocked em from making an appointment to repair the defect. I will try again. This is the second burning of the brake light system.

Upon pressing the gas pedal from a complete stop, or while driving at very low speeds (less than 20 mph), vehicle hesitates to accelerate for 2 to 3 seconds. After the 2 or 3 second pause, car finally accelerates with very high rpm's.

After stopping the vehicle does not respond to the gas pedal, severe lag. I have almost been in 3 accidents in 2 weeks, I am on blood thinners so this presents a life threatening issue for me, I am pursuing all complaint options and looking for a full refund. The car is only 2.5 weeks old and has less than 100 miles on it. The problem is intermittent so you can never be sure when it is going to happen.
The vehicle at times when going from a stop will occasionally totally lose all propulsion for a split second which has caused me to almost be dead in traffic. It is very scary when it happens. I don't know if it is a engine or transmission or fuel problem. I had the problem with a 2014 santa fe. My brother in law has the same problem with the same vehicle.
When it starts
Usually starts around 11,000 miles. Half of owners reported it between 1,615 and 28,216.
What to do
Drive slowly in traffic and feel for a stumble.
